Hi, I’m Dan.

I'm a professional musician, singer, guitarist, songwriter & MC from Agnes Water/1770, on the Central Queensland Coast. I specialise in providing entertainment for weddings, parties, events & corporate functions.

I have over 15 years’ experience in the music industry & have played at hundreds of events & venues across South East Queensland & Tasmania. Now being based in the beautiful town of Agnes Water, I am able to travel all over Central Queensland, Wide Bay & the East Coast of Queensland.

My ethos as a performer is to keep things simple. I aim to go above & beyond to add atmosphere & create a beautiful, seamless & well organised experience. I focus on providing professional & reliable service, clear communication, quality equipment, affordable pricing & great music. I am also extremely passionate about working with my clients to customise my performance to meet their needs & entertain them with the music that they want to hear!

  • Prior to living in Agnes Water, I was a full-time, professional musician, managed under Rooster Entertainment & Live4Locals. I have performed at many weddings, events & iconic venues over the years including the Stone & Wood Brewery, Old Kempton Distillery, The Glen Hotel, Wynnum Manly Leagues Club, Bundaberg Services Club, The Cleveland Sands Hotel, several Pig & Whistle venues across Brisbane & many… many more! I am good at gauging what your guests’ will enjoy & playing music that everyone will know and love. As an experienced MC, I am well versed at reading the room, I know what it takes to manage the flow of a reception & get the party started!

  • Having planned my own wedding (at the beginning of the pandemic), I understand the importance of being a punctual, caring, reliable & professional vendor. My wife works closely alongside me to manage my bookings to ensure all clients are met with responsive, caring & efficient service. I am also available by email & phone to help you plan the finer details & answer any enquiries you may have & to customize your event to the best of my ability.

  • I use high quality Bose speakers, Rode microphones, LED pixel corner lights, Cole Clark guitars & Elixir guitar strings. I arrive 40 minutes (at a minimum) prior to the event, to ensure the sound quality & set up is great!

  • I believe having a MC or live music at your event shouldn’t blow your budget! My pricing page & packages are transparent & easy to understand. I am always happy to work with you to find a price which is a happy medium for us both. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you would like a quote tailored to your event.

  • Both myself & my equipment are insured (with both Public Liability & Personal Contents’ Cover).

  • I can play anywhere! My battery powered system is perfect for outdoor events & wedding ceremonies. My prices are inclusive of travel within 150km from Agnes Water (which includes Bundaberg & Gladstone), however I am happy to discuss options if your venue or function falls outside of this range.

    Looking for someone to MC your wedding reception? Look no further! Bringing 10+ years of experience as a public speaker & MC to your event. Let me manage the flow of your special day. I am sure to have everyone smiling, laughing & enjoying the reception. I understand the balance of offering a professional, personalised, funny & engaging experience as an MC, allowing you & your loved ones to kick back, relax, party & enjoy your reception.

    $600 inc. GST

  • Wedding Entertainment Packages

    Take the stress away from your big day by hiring one professional entertainer, instead of two! Wedding packages include: live music for guest arrival, performance during the ceremony & canapes + either MC services or live music for the reception.

  • Acoustic Soloist

    I am experienced in providing professional, captivating & bespoke entertainment as an acoustic soloist. With over 15 years of industry experience & performing across a wide variety of events, venues & functions ranging from weddings, fundraisers, birthday parties, bars, wineries, distilleries, pubs & cafes – I know how to read the room, add atmosphere & play music tailored to the listeners’ experience. I also offer packages to suit varying budgets.

The Booking Process is simple.

Upon receiving your enquiry, I will respond within two business days. If I am available, I will provide a quote or ask a few more questions so I can provide an accurate quote. (Please check your junk/spam mail if you have not received an email from me).

If you decide to proceed with booking me, I will send you a contract & invoice requiring a $200 deposit to confirm the booking & will send you further information regarding song selection, a consultation phone call & general booking details.
